The number of local coronavirus cases jumped again overnight. According to the Virginia Department of Health, there are now 209 identified cases of the virus in Loudoun County. That’s up by 21 new cases from Monday.
The number of deaths from the coronavirus locally has held steady at four since the figure was last updated on Saturday. That’s per the Loudoun County Health Department.
Very little information is being released about the fatalities in Loudoun County. The first death announced was Susan Rokus, a local school teacher. A woman in a Sterling retirement home also passed away. Since then, two men has also died. All the victims were over the age of 65.
Statewide, there are now 3,333 cases of the virus and 63 Virginians have died.
Is there a chart anywhere depicting day to day how much we’re going up? I’ve seen it for VA but I’ve been looking for just Loudoun.
We haven’t seen one for Loudoun. If the health department has one, they haven’t released it publicly.
