Loudoun sees largest leap yet in new coronavirus cases

There were 29 new cases reported as of Wednesday morning.

The number of new coronavirus cases in Loudoun County took its largest jump yet overnight. Virginia state health officials report there are now 238 cases reported in Loudoun County. That’s up by 29 from the 209 cases reported as of Tuesday.

Several readers of The Burn have asked to see a running total of cases in the county, so we compiled a graph — showing the number of cases in Loudoun since the first case was announced on March 10. There is one weekend in late March where we couldn’t find any numbers and it’s possible there were no new cases reported on those days.

Statewide, there are now 3,645 cases and 75 reported deaths due to the pandemic.

good article to show the curve going up. can we get a review of the number of recoveries from covid as well? this would show that while we continue to see new cases everyday, the is a recovery rate that is probably equal to the increase.

    thanks.
