Construction moving quickly at new gas station on Loudoun County Parkway

The location will include a Sunoco gas station and A-Plus Mini Mart.

Construction is progressing quickly on a new gas station and convenience store coming to the northeast corner of Loudoun County Parkway and Russell Branch Parkway. The building is up and the framework for the canopy over the gas pumps is in place.

When it’s finished, the location will be a Sunoco gas station with an A-Plus Mini Mart convenience store.

We’re told construction should wrap up around June, which means the new station should open this summer.

The location of the new Sunoco is adjacent to the up-and-coming Commonwealth Center — which already has a CVS drugstore, Top Golf, iFLY and a storage facility. A Silver Diner restaurant is coming to the center, as is a Rooster’s Men’s Grooming Center, a Salon Lofts and a fast-casual Grill Kabob location.

Whatever happened with the proposed Wawa in the Kincora Development at the corner of Gloucester and Pacific Boulevard. (Or Nokes and Russell Branch – What is about this place that streets change names at random intersections?) The story was reported here a little over two years ago. http://www.theburn.com/2018/03/12/loudouns-second-wawa-works/

    Is it still coming?

It’s still on the books but no word on when they will break ground.
