The death toll in Loudoun County from the coronavirus now stands at 12. According to the county health department, six men and six women — all over the age of 65 — have passed away from complications related to the virus. The majority of the deaths — at least eight of them, possibly more — were residents of senior living centers.
As of today, there have been 628 positive cases of coronavirus diagnosed in Loudoun, out of 3,327 test results reported to health officials. 78 people are currently hospitalized.
Statewide, there are 13,535 cases of coronavirus, with 2,066 people hospitalized. 458 Virginians have died from the virus.
