Breakfast and brunch fans have a new spot for your favorite foods — now that Sweetwater Tavern in Sterling has opened a Best Buns Bread Company outlet at its location.
A big sign touting the new Best Buns location hangs outside the popular restaurant in the Waterview Plaza, just off Route 7. Both Sweetwater and Best Buns are part of the Great American Restaurant family of restaurants. In the past month or so, GAR has added Best Buns menu offerings at several of its existing restaurants.
Items available for pick up or delivery from 8 am to 4 pm each day include a variety of egg breakfast sandwiches as well as danishes muffins, cookies and the company’s famous Ozzie rolls. Staying true to the brunch tradition, Best Buns also has several cocktails available for pick up only, including a Texas Bloody Mary, a Tito’s Screwdriver and an Irish Coffee.
The move is likely part of the company’s efforts to increase revenue during this challenging time for the restaurant industry, and that means more options for local diners.
