Bojangles targeting December opening in Loudoun

It will be the first location in Loudoun and the immediate Northern Virginia suburbs.

The owners behind the new Bojangles restaurant in Sterling have shared an update on the progress of Loudoun’s first location of the popular fried chicken chain. They say applications have been submitted, a general contractor hired and they expect construction to start in August. Based on the predicted timeline, the restaurant would be ready to open in December.

The Burn first broke the news last December that Bojangles would open its first location in the immediate Northern Virginia area at Sterling’s Potomac Run Plaza. It’s taking over a former bank building between the Target and Costco stores near the intersection of Cascades Parkway and Bartholomew Fair Drive.

The nearest Bojangles restaurants to Loudoun include locations in Winchester to the west, Fredericksburg to the south and a single location at Union Station in DC.
