Ashburn’s Noah Epps advances to live shows on “America’s Got Talent”

The 12 year-old was promoted on Tuesday night’s episode.

Noah Epps — the talented 12-year-old hip hop dancer from Ashburn — has advanced to the upcoming live rounds of the NBC reality show, “America’s Got Talent.”

Noah appeared briefly on last night’s “Judge Cuts” episode where the list of contestants was whittled down. The rising 7th grader at Stone Hill Middle School was promoted by the celebrity judges based on on his previous performances. He didn’t have to dance last night, but here is video of his previous performance that wowed AGT judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel.

The live shows will take place in Los Angeles starting on Tuesday, August 11. It’s unknown whether performances will be live in person or live virtually, or some combination. These will be the quarterfinals of the popular TV show competition, so Noah would still have to advance through several more rounds to win the title. But as far as we are concerned, he’s already a star. Go Noah!
