A new gourmet cake and pastry shop is getting ready to open its doors at the Village at Leesburg. Dana’s Cake Shoppe will hold its grand opening on Friday, August 14. The Burn got a preview tour today.
Dana Alfahham originally started her cake business back in 2011. Since then, she has been named one of the best wedding cake businesses in the DC area three years running (2018, 2019, 2020). Now she is going brick-and-mortar with the new storefront at VAL.
The shop will continue to offer Dana’s amazing custom cakes for any occasion, but there will also be cakes ready-to-go if you’re in a hurry. The shop will also have cake by the slice, cupcakes, cake pops, macarons, and other sweet treats. Coffee will also be served.
While the grand opening of Dana’s Cake Shoppe is scheduled for August 14, we understand they will be training their staff in the days leading up to that date and their doors will likely be open ahead of time for those of you who want a sneak peek.
And during the store’s opening weekend, guests can get a free cupcake when they sign up for the shop’s loyalty program.
