Locals Tacos & Tequila, the new Mexican restaurant from the owner of Social House and Velocity Wings, is ready to open for business. The big day is this coming Monday, August 24.
Locals is opening in the Great Falls Plaza, a Food Lion anchored shopping plaza off Algonkian Parkway in the Potomac Falls community of Sterling. The Locals space was the former home of the beloved Mokomandy restaurant, which closed a few months ago.
Jim Speros, the owner of the Social House, Velocity Wings and now Locals, is also opening a second Locals Taco & Tequila location in Haymarket.
The menu at Locals is filled with everything you would expect from a free-wheeling Mexican joint — including flautas, fish tacos, carne asada, and tequila lime shrimp. See the full food and drink menus below.
