Second Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids location coming to Loudoun

The first location is scheduled to open in Ashburn.

Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids — a national chain of kids barbershops/hair salons — will be opening a location in Sterling. It is the second location announced for the brand in Loudoun County. The other Sharkey’s location is coming to Ashburn.

Back in June, The Burn first told readers about Sharkey’s coming to the Goose Creek Village shopping center in Ashburn. At the time, we knew a second location was planned for Sterling, but not the specific spot. Now we know that second location is in the Town Center at Sterling, at the intersection of Route 7 and Dranesville Road.

The Sharkey’s concept features a fun, colorful environment where younger kids can sit in chairs that look like cars and watch cartoons on a nearby TV screen. Older kids can get their hair cut or styled at Sharkey’s as well.

The owner of the Sterling location says they hope to open sometime in the first quarter of 2021. No word yet on when the Ashburn location will open its doors.
