Ashburn is getting a new drive-thru Dunkin’ Donuts in the Ashbrook Marketplace shopping center and now The Burn can report it will open next week. Thursday, October 15 is the big day.
The new Dunkin’ is also co-branded with a Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop. We got a peek inside where the finishing touches on the decor are being put in place and new employees were on hand starting their training.
Ashbrook Marketplace is at the intersection of Ashburn Village Boulevard and Russell Branch Parkway. Two other Dunkin’ locations in Loudoun County recently got make-overs (Sterling and the Broadlands) and at least one new location is in the works for Leesburg, at the Oaklawn development. The growth comes has Dunkin’ has reportedly become one of the main competitors to Starbucks in the so-called “coffee wars.”
