Bean Bar closing for good at the Village at Leesburg

The coffee shop has been in business since 2013.

Bean Bar, the coffee and tea house at the Village at Leesburg, is closing its doors for good this weekend. The popular meeting spot in the center has served up espresso drinks, chai teas and other beverages as well as sandwiches and pastries since 2013.

Owner Sonia Gupta sent The Burn a statement:

“I am so grateful to the community for the love and support it provided to Bean Bar. Together over the last seven years, we have created amazing conversations that have brought love, laughter and innovation. We have celebrated and mourned together and embraced all that life brings — one sip at a time. The vision of Bean Bar never was to be a take-out window, but instead to have people sit and stay a while,  so we are at odds with COVID—19. I enjoyed my time at the Village at Leesburg — no better place to build such a community. My hope is that conversations continue and the impact of Bean Bar lingers like a conversation does over a good cup of coffee. I am grateful and my cup is full.”

The Bean Bar’s last day will be this Sunday, October 18. Customers new and old are invited to stop in for one last hot beverage during this final week in business.
