Ghost Kitchen Loco brings multiple cuisines to Leesburg

The new concept is based out of the Kovi Kitchen restaurant off Edwards Ferry Road.

A large “ghost kitchen” concept is debuting in Leesburg, brought to you by the folks behind Kovi Kitchen, a fast-casual Asian street food restaurant. The new food business is fittingly called Ghost Kitchen Loco and features dishes and treats from a variety of cuisines.

Of course, Ghost Kitchen Loco has Asian street food from Kovi, but they have many other new concepts as well. Here’s the list from the GKL website:

  • Italian Crossroads (coming soon)
  • Loco Wings
  • Gourmet Gastropub
  • Fiesta Street
  • Keto
  • Sweet Street
  • Tomorrow Nights Dinners
  • Bubble Teas & Shakes

Menu items include Tomahawk Steaks from Gourmet Gastropub, Buffalo Chicken Empanada Bites from Fiesta Street and Dragon Wings from Loco Wings. The food from Ghost Kitchen Loco is available for pick-up at the Kovi location, or for delivery. Kovi Kitchen is located in the Battlefield Shopping Center, off Edwards Ferry Road.

As we’ve been reporting, a ghost kitchen is when a restaurant operates out of a central kitchen, but doesn’t have its own restaurant space per se. It usually offers carry-out and delivery. During the pandemic, many restaurants have been adding additional concepts to their kitchens in order increase revenue during this challenging time. Ghost Kitchen Loco was announced on social media today, but it’s unclear if the service has actually launched yet. The Burn has messages in for more information.
