Long lines greet Bojangles opening day in Sterling

The restaurant opened for business early Monday morning.

As expected, the new Bojangles in Sterling has caused quite a stir in the community on its first day open for business. Long lines with cars snaking through the Potomac Run Plaza shopping center were reported at the noon hour.

One visitor told The Burn it took them 45 minutes to get through the drive-thru and the were dozens of people inside the restaurant’s packed dining room as well.

When a popular restaurant like Bojangles opens in a  new market like Loudoun County, excitement is always high. The same crowds will surely happen when the area’s first Sonic opens in Leesburg, likely in 2022. Hopefully guests understand it’s the first day and a new team of employees and will give them the benefit of the doubt for any hiccups.

These stories make me sad for humanity. 45 minutes for a drive thru. You all need a life.

I wonder if anyone needed to be brought food or water…Wait they weren’t voting.
