Beyond/Hello, a national chain of retail marijuana dispensaries, will be opening its second Virginia location here in Loudoun County. The brand has chosen a spot in Sterling and hopes to open its doors by the end of the year.
The Burn first broke the news that Beyond/Hello was exploring a spot in the Nokes Plaza shopping center back in December — and now it’s official. That’s the same shopping center off Nokes Boulevard with the Cafesano restaurant, the Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery, a Sheetz convenience store and others. There are two other currently vacant retail buildings on the property and it appears Beyond/Hello will be moving into one of those spaces.
Currently, Beyond/Hello operates 17 cannabis dispensaries in four states. The brand’s first Virginia location opened in Manassas last year. It was the first medical marijuana dispensary in Northern Virginia. Beyond/Hello reportedly has a permit to open six dispensaries in NoVa, but at this time, Sterling is the only Loudoun location they are planning.
Virginia law currently only allows medical marijuana sales. Customers wanting to purchase medical cannabis need to register with the Board of Pharmacy before entering Beyond/Hello or other cannabis dispensaries. However, if the law changes to allow recreational marijuana sales in the state, that requirement could change or go away in the future.
Maybe once that opens, a white castle will open next to it
Who cares? Pot is way overpriced in the dispensaries in DC, Maryland and soon Virginia. Cloud 9 weed delivery in dc 160 for an ounce of great weed.
Buy a little bit of the green stuff
