First Watch in Leesburg aiming for May 24th opening

It will be the first location in Loudoun County for the popular brand.

T-minus one month and counting until the new First Watch restaurant in Leesburg welcomes its first guests. The company’s headquarters has told The Burn they are aiming for a May 24 grand opening. And we’ve got some interesting new details as well.

The Burn first broke the news about Loudoun’s first First Watch location back in June 2020. The popular restaurant chain bills itself as “The Daytime Cafe” and is open daily in the morning and early afternoon. It specializes in breakfast and brunch dishes. The Leesburg location has taken over the former Green Turtle sports bar building in the Marketplace at Potomac Station shopping center.

We’re told this First Watch is larger than the average location for the brand, clocking in at more than 5,000 s.f. It will also have a larger-than-usual outdoor dining patio — somewhere close to 2,000 s.f. The Leesburg location will also launch with the brand’s bar program — a special menu of curated cocktails which take advantage of First Watch’s many fresh juices. This includes drinks like the Vodka Kale Tonic and the Million Dollar Bloody Mary. We’re told not every First Watch launches with the bar program, but Leesburg will. You can see the bar menu below and the rest of the First Watch menu here.

People who sign up on the company’s website for the “Pre-Opening VIP List” will have a chance to attend a special preview meal at the restaurant, prior to the planned May 24 opening.
