Latest Virginia Tire & Auto opens in new Leesburg shopping center

The auto shop is located in the growing Shops at Russell Branch retail plaza.

The Shops at Russell Branch is coming to life in Leesburg. That’s the new shopping center next to the Lowe’s Home Improvement store at the intersection of Russell Branch Parkway and Battlefield Parkway SE. The latest tenant to open its doors is the new Virginia Tire & Auto shop.

It’s the first Virginia Tire & Auto in Leesburg, but the brand is ubiquitous in other parts of Loudoun. Ashburn has four VA Tire locations and Sterling and South Riding have one each as well. Virginia Tire & Auto was founded in 1976 and now serves Loudoun, Fairfax, Prince William, and Chesterfield counties. The new Leesburg shop is the 18th location for the brand.

Meanwhile, the Shops at Russell Branch is home to a new Aldi discount grocery store that opened back in December. It will also have a ExxonMobil gas station and a large car wash called BriteWash Auto Wash.

Three other retail buildings are also planned for the property, including one with multiple spaces and potentially two end caps with outdoor patios. These are the types of spaces that restaurants often prefer, although no guarantees. So far, no tenants for those spaces have been officially announced, but we are starting to hear rumors, so hopefully there will be news soon.
