Sign installed at new VA Kabob House restaurant in Ashburn

The restaurant is opening in the Ashburn Farm community.

A sign of progress at a new Middle Eastern restaurant coming to the Ashburn Farm neighborhood in Ashburn. It’s called VA Kabob House and the bold, yellow sign was recently installed on the facade above the entrance.

The Burn first told you about VA Kabob back in February. The restaurant is renovating an 1,100 s.f. space in Ashburn Farm Market Center. That’s the Giant-anchored center at the intersection of Claiborne Parkway and Ashburn Farm Parkway.

This is the second location for the burgeoning chain. The original VA Kabob House is in Springfield. There, the menu features chicken kabobs, beef kabobs, lamb kabobs, shrimp kabobs and shami kabobs, which are a type of minced meat. There are also salads, gyro sandwiches and more. You can view the whole VA Kabob House menu here.

Besides the sign going up, we’re told construction inside the space is nearly complete and then there will be a series of county inspections. The owners of VA Kabob House tell The Burn they hope to open the new Ashburn location sometime in July.
