Qwench Juice Bar opens its doors at Lansdowne Town Center

Today — Saturday, August 7 — is opening day for the new Qwench Juice Bar at the Lansdowne Town Center shopping center. The purveyor of fruit and veggie enriched smoothies — what they call “blends” — started welcoming customers this morning.

The Burn first broke the news that Qwench was coming last November. The Los Angeles-based brand has most of its locations out west, with a few in the Midwest. There are only two locations in Virginia — one in Sterling at Cascades Overlook and the new one in Lansdowne.

Besides the blends and a variety of juices, the new Qwench also features acai bowls, grain bowls and salad bowls — such as the Pesto Bowl with pesto chicken, avocado, greens, quinoa, pumpkin seeds and balsamic vinaigrette, or the Raspberry Power, with mixed greens and kale, tomato, cucumber, beet, apple, walnuts, quinoa and raspberry vinaigrette. You can check out the full Qwench menu here.

The new Qwench is located at the intersection of Promenade Drive and Winmeade Drive in the LTC. It took over the former Starbucks space when that store moved into a freestanding building with a drive-thru elsewhere in the center.
