Outback Steakhouse in Leesburg pushes opening date

Outback Steakhouse has announced that the grand opening of its new Leesburg location will now be on Wednesday, August 25. The previous date was Monday the 23rd.

No reason was given for the date change, but anyone who has opened a business (or tried to bring any big project to fruition) knows that there are all types of last minute hiccups that come up — from waiting on delayed supplies or equipment, to staff training, to passing final inspections.

Outback is opening on an out parcel at the Leesburg Premium Outlets off Fort Evans Road NE. The steakhouse chain has taken over and remodeled the former Bob Evans Restaurant building, sitting between the TGIFridays and the Panera.

This will be the second Outback in Loudoun County. The first one is located in the Potomac Run Plaza in Sterling.
