It was just the other day that we updated readers on the progress of the new Peri-Peri Original restaurant coming to Ashburn. Now comes word that the regional peri-peri chain is pursuring a location in the South Riding/Aldie area in southern Loudoun County.
A spokesperson for the brand says they are hoping to sign a lease to open a Peri-Peri Original in the South Riding Market Square shopping center. That’s the large Giant and Home Depot-anchored center along Loudoun County Parkway just south of Highway 50.
The menu at Peri-Peri Original has a little of everything. The staple is the spicy peri-peri chicken, a Portuguese-South African speciality. But they also serve burgers, tacos, salads, pitas, wraps and more. You can see the full menu below.
Peri-Peri Original currently has four locations open, two each in Virginia and Maryland. They reportedly have seven more stores opening in the next few months.
A spokesperson couldn’t give a specific date or even month when the South Riding location might open, but he said they hope to have the store ready for customers in the next six months.
