A Loudoun County Sheriff’s office spokesperson says there have been no arrests at this time.

“This investigation remains very active and more details will be released as they become available,” said Kraig Troxell, a spokesperson for the LCSO.

Troxell did say the community will continue to see law enforcement officers in the area, but wouldn’t comment on whether deputies are searching for someone.

According to officials, a call came in around 8:30 p.m. Thursday that the victim — Chemlali Goode — had been found unresponsive inside a townhome at 23325 Connie Marie Terrace.

She was taken to StoneSprings Hospital Center in the South Riding/Stone Ridge area near Highway 50, where she was pronounced dead.

Loudoun County property records show the home belongs to the victim. This morning, the quiet street near Belmont Ridge Road was swarming with law enforcement officers and the home where the homicide took place was surrounded with yellow police tape.

Social media accounts for Chemlali Goode indicate she has previously worked for Loudoun County government as well as the Inova Health System.

Anyone with any information regarding this case is asked to contact Detective T. Rodriguez at 703-777-1021. Tips can also be submitted through the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office app.
