BriteWash Auto Wash in Leesburg starts soft opening

A new car wash in Leesburg has quietly opened its doors to customers and their dirty vehicles. The timing couldn’t have been better for BriteWash Auto Wash with the first snowfall last week and lots of salt on the roads. The car wash is currently doing a soft opening where they test out all their systems before holding a grand opening.

The Burn broke the news that BriteWash was headed to Leesburg way back in May 2019. The coronavirus pandemic slowed their schedule, but construction finally got underway in early 2021.

BriteWash is located at the Shops at Russell Branch center. That’s the same center as the Lowe’s Home Improvement store and the new ALDI grocery store. It’s a full-service car wash, meaning customers can take their car through the tunnel for the exterior wash, then swing around for an interior cleaning if they’d like.

The new car wash is also noteworthy for some of the amenities it plans to offer — including a seating area for visitors to watch their car go through the tunnel, as well as a shop with snacks and even a casual bar, which plans to offer local beer and wine to customers having longer detailing projects done. Some of those amenities aren’t all online yet, but everything should be up and running in the next month or so.

This is the first location for the new BriteWash brand, but it’s not likely to be the last. As The Burn has reported previously, the second location is planned for the long-gestating Avonlea project in the South Riding area. And the BriteWash owner is actively looking for other Loudoun County locations as well.
