Work begins on new Arby’s in Loudoun County

A new Arby’s fast-food restaurant coming to Loudoun County is one step closer now that construction work has finally started.

The chain, famous for its roast beef sandwiches and seasoned curly fries, is headed to a spot at the Dulles 28 Centre off Pacific Boulevard.

Workers are on site this week, demolishing much of the interior of the former Burger King building in order to make it into a modern Arby’s.

It was two years ago this month — January 2020 — when the Burger King closed. The space has been vacant ever since.

The Burn first broke the news about the Arby’s coming to the D28 Centre last September. It sits right next to a Residence Inn hotel, as well as the Target store and a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant.

Work is underway on a former Burger King building, turning it into an Arby’s.

No word yet on the Dulles 28 Centre location will open, but when it does, it will be only the third location in Loudoun County for the brand.

According to the Arby’s website, there are two others thus far — one in Leesburg at the Marketplace at Potomac Station and one off 606/Old Ox Road at Overland Drive.
