Viet Chopsticks closes its Lansdowne location

For the past 10 years, Viet Chopsticks in the Lansdowne Town Center has been serving up traditional Vietnamese cuisine, but no more. The restaurant has announced its closure with a poignant goodbye message.

“It’s so hard to say goodbye,” the restaurant posted to social media. “Thank you so much for supporting us for the last 10 years. We have to say goodbye to our great customers. This is the end of our 10 year lease at Lansdowne Town Center.”

Viet Chopsticks was known for its pho, its stir-fry, its spring rolls and other Asian dishes. They encouraged fans to continue to patronize their other locations in Woodbridge and DC.

It’s too soon to say what new tenant might take that space and join Il Cappero, Mrs. Sushi & Mr. Roll, Ford’s Fish Shack, T’Kila Mexican Restaurant, Deli Italiano and the many other restaurants found in the LTC.

Sad. Every time we ate there, the food has been great. Most recently, 3 weeks ago, we ordered a couple of large phos and got an unusually small sized portion. I guess it makes sense now.
