We’ve been sitting on the news for several days, but now they’ve made it official — ResQ BBQ, a new barbecue restaurant in Leesburg, will open its doors on Saturday, February 12.
ResQ is a familar name for barbecue in the area. The owners have operated a food truck trailer serving up barbecue meats for years now. And, until recently, they had a physical location at the Evergreen SportsPlex south of Leesburg. But now, they are going full on brick-and-mortar with a new storefront.
The new location is in the Leesburg Plaza shopping center on East Market Street. The ResQ team has taken over the spot that used to be a California Tortilla restaurant.
They have refurbished the interior and added a long, shiny wooden bar with roughly a dozen seats. There is also seating for more than 50 guests in the dining room.
The restaurant’s menu includes barbecued meat, BBQ Nachos, a Pulled Pork Egg Roll, Smoked Chicken Wings, Candied Bacon and much more. You can check out the full ResQ BBQ menu here.
