Purcellville Eats holds soft opening this weekend

A new gourmet grilled cheese restaurant coming to Purcellville is opening its doors this weekend. The aptly named Purcellville Eats will hold a “soft opening” starting Friday.

As regular readers know, the fast-casual style restaurant is coming to the Purcellville Center at Blue Ridge Station shopping plaza. That’s at the intersection of East Main Street and North Maple Avenue. The eatery is the brainchild of restauranteur Kevin Bednarz, who also owns the Purcellville Pub and the Ashburn Pub.

The Purcellville Eats motto is “No Frills, Just Grills” and the menu features sandwiches like the California Smash with brie, turkey, fig jam, avocado, and bacon. They also have sides including tomato basil soup and garlic tots. You can see the full Purcellville Eats menu below.

As part of the soft opening, the restaurant will be open this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. It’s important to stress — a soft opening is a time for a new restaurant to finalize staff training, make sure their equipment and systems all work smoothly and so forth. Basically, it’s working out the kinks.
