Sign at TeaDM Street Food Corner goes up in Sterling

A new eatery that specializes in bubble teas, Asian food, and music, including electronic dance music, is getting closer to opening in Sterling. The sign at TeaDM Street Food Corner has gone up.

As The Burn first reported last June, TeaDM signed a lease for a spot in the Shoppes at Potomac Corner plaza along Route 7 in Sterling. It’s the space that was previously home to the Newk’s Eatery.

TeaDM already has a locations in Falls Church, Vienna, and Fairfax, but their newest location in Sterling will feature a slightly different concept.

While they will still have the bubble teas and EDM music (thus the name) they will also feature smoothies, coffees, and a menu of Asian finger food and small plates, including Banh Mi sandwiches.

There will also be a full bar at TeaDM. The owners compare it to a mini food hall concept and say it will be unlike anything else currently in Sterling.

The TeaDM team is still waiting on equipment to arrive and construction to wrap up. They are hoping to ready to open by the end of May if all goes smoothly.
