Well, that didn’t take long. It was just at the end of February that The Burn told you about the Starbucks coffee shop closing in the Ashburn Farm Market Center. Now a new java joint has reportedly already signed on — and it’s a local operation to boot.
It looks like the SR Coffee Co. is going to be the new tenant taking over the former 1,400 s.f. Starbucks space.
SR Coffee got its start as a mobile coffee trailer — selling its wares by the bag at area farmer’s markets.
They recently opened a roasting facility and retail coffee shop on Sycolin Road, across from the Leesburg Airport. Now, they are already working on their second location.
Well there is no official opening date yet for the Ashburn Farm location, we’re told the SR team is working towards a July 1 target.
