IHOP headed to Purcellville shopping center

Purcellvillians (or is it Purcellvillites?) will soon have new place to get their breakfast on when a planned IHOP opens on the town’s east side.

The Burn has learned that an IHOP — once known as the International House of Pancakes — is headed to the Catoctin Corner retail center at 287 (Berlin Turnpike) and Business 7 (Colonial Highway).

That’s the same shopping center with the 7-Eleven, the Chipotle, the Dunkin’ Donuts and the Manhattan Pizza. The IHOP is reportedly taking an end unit in a new building next door to the 7-Eleven.

And while the brand is most famous for their breakfasts of pancakes, waffles, omelets and more, IHOPs, of course, have a full lunch and dinner menu as well. Some IHOPs, including the one in Ashburn, have even introduced cocktails. They call it their “Bubbles, Wines & Brews” menu.

The IHOP is just the latest in a series of new restaurants open or in the works for Purcellville, including the new upscale BIA Kitchen, the Purcellville Eats grilled cheese shop, the Burger Fries & Chicken fast-food joint, the Gringo Gordo Empanada Shop, and the BKD Bagels shop.

The closest IHOPs to P’veille right now are in Leesburg, Ashburn and Charles Town, West Virginia. No word yet on when the new IHOP will open, so stay tuned.
