New Five Guys headed to Loudoun County

According to the Five Guys website, the popular fast-casual hamburger chain has three locations in Loudoun County currently. Now, we’ve learned about plans for a fourth.

The Burn has confirmed that Five Guys has signed a deal to come to the Flagship Commons retail plaza in Ashburn. That’s right next door to the giant Flagship Carwash that opened recently near the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Russell Branch Parkway.

Five Guys is taking a corner unit in the center, which is directly across LoCo Parkway from One Loudoun.

The other current Five Guys locations includes one in Leesburg at the Battlefield Shopping Center, one in Ashburn at the Ashburn Eats center on Waxpool Road, and one in Sterling at Potomac Run Plaza.

There is also one inside Dulles International Airport, but we don’t count that because it’s only accessible to ticketed passengers and airport employees.

The future Five Guys space next to The Big Screen Store at Flagship Commons in Ashburn.

With the news of the Five Guys deal, all the spaces in Flagship Commons are now taken, or the center is fully leased as brokers like to say.

From left to right in the center, there will be Five Guys, The Big Screen Store, Club Champion, Corso 63 and Dunkin’ Donuts.

The Big Screen Store, which moved from Sterling, is already open. Club Champion, a golf club specialty shop, is under construction. Work on Corso 63, an Italian restaurant should start in July.

No word yet on when the Five Guys or the Dunkin’ plan to open.
