Sign installed at ThaiTastic Thai Cuisine in Ashburn

A new Thai restaurant coming to Ashburn has crossed a milestone on its path to opening day. The sign at ThaiTastic Thai Cuisine has gone up outside the future restaurant space.

As The Burn reported back in April, ThaiTastic has taken a roughly 900 s.f. spot in the Ashbrook Commons shopping center. It can be found in the breezeway between two buildings, tucked behind the Jersey Mike’s sub sandwich shop.

This out-of-the-way location is probably one reason the owners of ThaiTastic went with what’s known as a “blade” sign — a sign that is mounted on a post or bar sticking out from the facade of a building. It has a better chance of being seen by passers-by at the front of the center.

So far, there are few details about ThaiTastic. We’ve been told the restaurant will have a small dining room, as well as focus on delivery and carry out. Beyond Thai dishes, there are no details yet on the menu or when opening day will be.

We’ve reached out to the folks at ThaiTastic for more details and will report back as they release new information about their plans for the restaurant.
