At last, the wait is over. The new Neighbors Sports Bar & Grill in Ashburn will open its doors to customers starting tomorrow — Friday, September 2.
As The Burn first reported back in May, the former Broadlands Pub on Truro Parish Drive was taken over by new local owners and given a new name. It was also completely redecorated inside — turning the former dive bar into a bright, stylish bar and grill.
Neighbors created a lot of buzz back in July when it unveiled a Caribbean-themed menu featuring many dishes from Cuban and Puerto Rican cuisines. As foodies in the area know, there aren’t a lot of restaurants offering dishes of this sort, so anticipation has been building.
The new owners ran into some delays that put off the opening by a few weeks. But those obstacles have been overcome and tomorrow is the big day.
To start, the hours at Neighbors will be Sunday to Thursday, 11 a.m to midnight, Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Happy Hour will be weekdays from 5 to 7 p.m.
On Friday, they will have some free giveaways including a mason jar glass featuring the Neighbors logo for the first 100 guests. You can check out the new Neighbors menu by clicking here.
