Milk & Honey starts soft opening in Sterling Wednesday

A new restaurant focused on brunch-style food is ready for prime time. The first Milk & Honey location in Loudoun County will open its doors tomorrow — Wednesday, November 2.

As The Burn has been reporting since February, Milk & Honey is coming to the Dulles 28 Centre in Sterling. That’s the shopping center next to Wegmans and Target near Waxpool Road and SR 28.

It has taken over the space vacated by the longtime burger joint Cheeburger Cheeburger.

Milk & Honey describes itself as a “southern brunch restaurant.” It’s menu is full of decadent sounding dishes like a Rum Chata French Toast, a Sweet Potato Waffle with Pecan Caramel, a Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit, Fried Chicken Wings, and Cheesy Hash Browns.

They also have a variety of brunch-style cocktails available. You can see the full Milk & Honey menu here.

According to the company’s website, there are currently six Milk & Honey locations around the DMV. Dulles/Sterling should be No. 7.

The opening on Wednesday is a soft opening. Regular readers know what that means. It’s a time where the staff gets some experience with the restaurant’s systems, the menu and so forth. A grand opening will be scheduled for a few weeks from now.
