New Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids headed to Loudoun County

A third Loudoun County location for Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is in the works — and it’s coming to a new retail building that also has room for several other businesses.

As the name suggests, Sharkey’s is a national chain of salons specializing in hair cuts and hair styling for kids. There are already two locations in Loudoun — one in Sterling and one in Ashburn.

Now, a new location is in the works for the Dulles area — specifically the retail development that has gone up at the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Arcola Mills Drive.

That’s just a short distance north of Highway 50, so this Sharkey’s will serve South Riding as well as surrounding communities.

A new retail building has gone up in the center alongside a Sheetz gas station, an IHOP, a Wendy’s, an ALDI grocery store and several other businesses.

The new building appears to have room for three tenants. Sharkey’s is one, but who will take the other two spaces remains to be seen.

Sharkey’s features barber chairs that look like cars for little kids, Xbox and PlayStation video games for older kids, cartoons playing, themed parties and more.
