Loudoun County’s first Big Buns Damn Good Burgers is getting closer to opening — and the team at the new restaurant is hoping to be ready sometime as soon as this month.
That’s the word we got from the company’s leadership. The signs were recently installed at the new burger joint — another indication that things are moving along.
The Burn was the first to report the Big Buns news back in April. That’s when we learned that the Arlington-based brand was taking over the Elevation Burger location at One Loudoun in Ashburn.
Elevation closed this summer, and ever since crews have been giving the space on OL’s main plaza a makeover to bring it into the Big Buns family.
According to the company website, there are now eight Big Buns locations — including seven in Northern Virginia and one in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Ashburn store will be No. 9.
Besides the damn good burgers, Big Buns is also known for its “boozy shakes” — milkshakes with a shot of liquor blended in. You can see the full Buns menu here.
