Church & Market project bringing new retail to downtown Leesburg

This week, local leaders in Leesburg broke ground on the long anticipated Church & Market project.

Local leaders, including Leesburg mayor Kelly Burk, break ground on the new Church & Market project.

It will bring new residential units, office space as well as restaurant and retail space to the town’s downtown historic district.

According to reports, Church & Market will feature upwards of 30,000+ s.f. of retail, restaurant, and office space, as well as 116 residential units and a parking garage.

The project will include the demolition of some structures and be built in amongst existing buildings south of Market Street and west of Church Street.

No future tenants have been named for the retail portions of the project. Construction is expected to get underway in the next several weeks.
