Loudoun’s latest Dunkin’ Donuts taking shape

The rough building is up at the new Dunkin’ Donuts shop coming to southern Loudoun County. It will be part of the Whitman Farm shopping plaza taking shape.

That’s located on the southeast corner of Gum Spring Road and Braddock Road.

The Burn first reported on plans for the new Dunkin’ nearly two years ago — back in January 2021. It’s supposed to sit adjacent to a new Lidl grocery store that we’re told is still happening, although construction has not started on that project yet.

Other businesses in the center include Kokee Tea, a nail salon, and a dentist office. It is also the future home of the first Loudoun location of Papa Deeno’s Pizza. That restaurant is under construction currently.

There are also plans for a Sheetz gas station and convenience store in the center.

No word on when the Dunkin’ will open. As a freestanding building, it will almost certainly include a drive-thru lane. It should also be home to a Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop, a co-brand of Dunkin’.
