New in NoVa: Clean Eatz cafe opening in Centreville

(As part of our reporting on news in Loudoun County and surrounding communities we sometimes come across new restaurant brands and other businesses entering the wider Northern Virginia market. While they may not be in our immediate area, we thought some readers might find this kind of news interesting. With that, we are starting these occasional “New in NoVa” reports.)

A new healthy eating option with a unique twist is making its way into Northern Virginia with a first location in Centreville. It’s called Clean Eatz, part of a nationwide chain of cafes featuring healthier menu options.

According to the company’s website, the first Clean Eatz in NoVa will be in the Westfields development just off SR 28 at Westfields Boulevard.

The restaurants all have two unique sides to their food service. One side is the typical dine-in or carry-out “cafe” menu.

The cafe includes burgers where you have options of bison, salmon, black bean, or turkey burgers. There are also flatbreads, melts, wraps, bowls, smoothies, and many other choices. See the full menu here.

However, Clean Eatz also offers weekly meal plans. You choose from a menu in advance, place your order, and they prepare healthy meals for you to take home and eat throughout the week. It’s a combination restaurant and diet meal plan kitchen all under one roof.

Here’s how the brand describes itself: “Clean Eatz is more than a restaurant that offers healthy food. We are heart-driven to change livez through clean, balanced food, thought-provoking education and motivational support that inspires results.”

Clean Eatz currently has locations open or in the works in 20 states. There are seven Clean Eatz locations listed for Virginia. The next closest can be found in Fredericksburg.

The Clean Eatz in Centreville is still in the very early stages, so an opening will likely happen sometime later in 2023.
