A new healthy-style eatery is headed to Loudoun County. It goes by the name Rush Bowls — and it’s a fast-casual brand that offers fresh fruit bowls with all types of healthy toppings.
The company has announced on its website that it is actively seeking Loudoun locations — this usually means they have a franchisee here — but so far, no word on any done deals.
Rush Bowls got its start in 2004 in Boulder, Colorado. Since then, it’s expanded to at least 42 locations open or in the works across the country, with more in the pipeline.
On its website, Rush Bowls describes itself as offering “meals crafted from the finest fruit, topped with granola & honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients that taste delicious while promoting a healthy lifestyle.”

In this region, there is one location in DC on U Street. In Virginia, there are stores in the works for Richmond, Charlottesville and Loudoun. Stay tuned and we will let you know when Rush Bowls signs a lease for its first local store.
