Report: Big changes coming for Buford’s Biscuits in Leesburg

Buford’s Biscuits — the tiny restaurant on Loudoun Street known for its jumbo cathead biscuits covered in eggs, gravy, sausages, and other toppings — is making some major changes in the next couple of months.

According to a report from InsideNova.com, Buford’s is moving from its current spot and taking over the building at 7 West Market Street. That’s the spot that used to be home to Cocina on Market.

Buford’s will also reportedly expand their hours and their menu becoming a full service, all-day restaurant. The menu will be expanded, focusing on Southern dishes such as fried chicken, mashed potatoes and collard greens.

The new incarnation will have a bar and offer table service versus the current counter service at the Loudoun Street shop.

InsideNova says that Buford’s is aiming for an April opening if all goes smoothly. You can read the full report on the plans for the restaurant here.
