Five Guys planning another Loudoun County location

Five Guys — the fast-casual hamburger chain — has got a new Loudoun County location in the works. The latest store for the brand will be in Leesburg in an area popping with similar chain restaurants.

The Burn has learned that Five Guys is taking the space next door to the Dunkin’ Donuts in the Oaklawn development. That’s centered around the intersection of Battlefield Parkway SE and Miller Drive SE.

Other restaurants in the area include the Chick-fil-A in the next building over, and the upcoming Sonic Drive-In that is under construction on the other side of Battlefield Parkway.

According to the Five Guys website, this will be the sixth location in Loudoun County for the Northern Virginia-based brand that was founded in 1986 and now has more than 1,700 restaurants around the world.

The future Five Guys location next door to the Dunkin’ off Battlefield Parkway SE in Leesburg.

Other locations in Loudoun include one in Sterling, one in Leesburg, one inside Dulles International, and two in Ashburn, including the store at Flagship Commons off Loudoun County Parkway. That location just opened last month.

No word when the latest location in Leesburg will open. Work on the space is just in the early stages of getting underway.
