Belly Rubs Biscuit Bar & Spa expanding in Ashburn Farm

It looks like things in the dog biscuit business are going well — Belly Rubs Biscuit Bar & Spa is expanding its store in Ashburn and also expanding the pet supplies that it will offer.

Belly Rubs currently has a store in the Ashburn Farm Market Center. That’s the Giant-anchored plaza at the corner of Ashburn Farm Parkway and Claiborne Parkway.

Belly Rubs offers dog grooming services, plus they offer their own line of custom-created dog treats, along with other pet supplies.

However, now the store is expanding and taking over the space next door that used to be home to Loyal Companion, a different pet supply store. It closed earlier this year.

As part of the expansion, Belly Rubs retail side will move past being focused primarily on treats and begin selling a selection of “healthy and natural” pet foods.

Other new pet-centric offerings will also be part of the larger space. And the spa and grooming services will continue to be a big part of the business.

Work is already underway in the vacant space next door, so look for the larger Belly Rubs to debut soon.

And this is just the latest news to come out of the Ashburn Farm Market Center. As The Burn has recently reported, there are two new restaurants headed there as well.

Tsacoaa, a fried chicken and bubble tea restaurant is under construction, and a lease has been signed to open Loudoun’s first Honey Pig Korean BBQ in the center as well.
