A unique new store is on its way to One Loudoun in Ashburn. It’s called Handmade by LMAC and features all types of art and products made by local creators here in the greater DC and Northern Virginia regions.
The acronym in Handmade by LMAC stands for Local Makers, Artists, and Crafters. It will be taking over the 2,000 s.f. space vacated by Marcus Blaque, a women’s clothing boutique that recently closed.
That’s in the same stretch of Exchange Street in the center that is home to other boutiques including Maisons, Apricot Lane, and Scout & Molly’s.
This will be the second location for Handmade by LMAC. The first is just down the road inside the Dulles Town Center shopping mall.
Like the original location, the new store carry a wide variety of goods — we’re talking things like handmade candles, wooden cutting boards, unique jewelry, fun throw pillows, sun catchers, scarves, gift baskets and more.
The line-up of items is always change and evolving as new vendors come in.
We’re told if everything goes smoothly, the Handmade by LMAC team hopes to open the new One Loudoun store in the next few weeks.
