Potomac Taphouse in Ashburn prepares for May opening

Lots of progress happening at the new Potomac Taphouse that is coming to Ashburn. The signs and a big banner have been added to the facade of the future restaurant and bar while work is underway inside the space.

The new establishment is being opened by the same folks who own and operate Massaya Lebanese Restaurant and Bar in the Goose Creek Village shopping center.

As The Burn first reported last month, Potomac Taphouse is coming to the University Commerce Center off George Washington Boulevard. That’s on the north side of Route 7, just east of Loudoun County Parkway.

It’s taken over the space that was vacated by Saigon Outcast, an Asian restaurant.

The debut menu for the Potomac Taphouse is still being worked on, but we know that their plans call for keeping the large beer tap system in the space. The Taphouse team expects to offer more than 100 different beers on tap and in bottles or cans.

A firm date is still being ironed out, but right now, the Potomac Taphouse is aiming to open sometime in mid-May.
