Posh Pixies opens its doors in Middleburg

A new boutique offering upscale clothing  for children has opened its doors in the heart of Middleburg. It’s called Posh Pixies and it features “responsibly sourced, natural fiber apparel” for newborns to age 10.

The store is located at 9 South Madison Street. It opened in a storefront that was previously a women’s apparel shop called Mengu. That’s just around the corner from King Street Oyster Bar.

The curated selection includes items like a Houndstooth Linen Jacket from Brown Bowen & Co., a Rainbow Tiered Star Dress from Baby Sara, and a Sutton Skirted Onesie from Gigi & Max.

Owner Robin Klombers — who lived in Brambleton for many years prior to moving to a farm in Middleburg — has a background in operating clothing stores and she saw a need.

“There’s such a gap in our market for quality children’s apparel, so I decided to open a store to serve our Loudoun community,” Klombers told The Burn.
