When Bites Wine & Grilled Cheese Bar closed its location in downtown Leesburg back in 2021, the owners said at the time that they would return. Two years later, they are making good on their promise.
Bites will be coming back to Loudoun County, but this time to Sterling. It’s going into the same “collective space” where Daybreak Bisbuits, Nektar Cocktail Bar, Señor Ramon Taqueria, and a Crooked Run brewery are located.
That spot is found at 22455 Davis Drive. We’re told Bites will be sharing space with Daybreak.
Daybreak — a gourmet biscuit and waffle purveyor — will still offer its menu of biscuit sandwiches and breakfast items in the morning, but then the space will change over to Bites.
And it won’t just be grilled cheeses on the Bites menu. The restaurant will also be adding a line-up of chef-curated cheesesteak sandwiches.
They are looking to re-launch Bites sometime in early July.
To start, Bites will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday to Friday. On weekends, when Daybreak is open, the transition will happen around 1 p.m. and Bites will be available all afternoon and evening. The plan is to extend the restaurant’s hours as things get rolling.
