The poke craze just keeps on going. A growing restaurant brand serving the fresh fish dish is headed to Northern Virginia.
It’s called Poke Bros. and it’s working on its first location in Lorton. According to the company’s website — this will be the second location in Virginia. There is currently one store near Richmond.
At Poke Bros., the motto is “Fresh Fish Hawaiian Style.” Customers can choose from one of the brand’s signature bowls. Or they can choose to build their own from a dizzying array of toppings.
Base ingredients include three different styles of rice, or salad. From there, you pick your protein: salmon, tuna, and chicken, plus spicy versions of these. They also have marinated tuna, shrimp, and a vegetarian option.
Ingredients and toppings include edamame, jalapeños, sweet, onion, ginger, pineapple, sesame seeds, wonton chips, toasted coconut, plus a bunch of sauces. You can see the full Poke Bros. menu below.
No word yet on when the Lorton location will open – the website just says “coming soon.” But we have to imagine expanding in Northern Virginia is part of the company’s plans.
