New fried chicken, bubble tea restaurant opens in Ashburn

A new Asian restaurant has opened in the Ashburn Farm community serving up fried chicken, bubble tea, donuts and waffles. It’s called Tsaocaa and it’s located in the Ashburn Farm Market Center.

That’s the Giant-anchored shopping center with the McDonald’s and Nagoya Sushi Bar & Japanese Steak House at Ashburn Farm Parkway and Claiborne Parkway. Many locals simply call it Junction Plaza.

The Burn first reported on Tsaocaa coming to the center in July 2022. It’s gone into a space previously occupied by a martial arts studio next to Nagoya.

The decor is simple — done up in yellow and white accents and featuring a mascot that resembles a sad teddy bear. There is also a digital self-ordering kiosk.

As mentioned, the menu features items popular in China, including Hong Kong Egg Waffles, Mochi Donuts, Fried Chicken, as well as a large menu of Fruit Teas, Milk Teas, and other beverages.

Sides include French fries, sweet potato fries, rice, spring rolls, gyoza, and more. You can see the full Tsaocaa menu below.
