Temporary signage up for Loudoun’s first Dig restaurant

The windows at the future Dig restaurant in Ashburn have been covered over with signage touting the upcoming arrival of the restaurant chain — and based on the messages we’ve gotten, people are getting excited.

The Burn first broke the news back in December that Dig was moving into One Loudoun. It has taken over the spot left vacant when Zoe’s Kitchen closed in early 2023.

Dig is a New York-based fast-casual chain with locations up and down the eastern seaboard between DC and Boston. There are DMV locations in the District and in Bethesda, but the One Loudoun store should be the first one in Virginia.

The menu at Dig leans towards healthier ingredients and dishes. We’re talking things like a Seared Salmon Plate, a Tofu Greens and Grains Plate, and a Kale Caesar.

Sides include items such as Roasted Cauliflower with Parmesan, Marinated Cannellini Beans, and Sheet Tray Carrots. You can check out the full Dig menu here.

While the arrival of the first temporary signage doesn’t really give us a clue as to when the Dig at One Loudoun will open, it is a sign that the brand is turning its attention to this location to get things rolling.

We’ve got messages in to Dig’s headquarters, so stay tuned for more details.
